US state laws for insurance is so confusing and difficult. Here in Canada you can't buy a car and have it leave the lot unless the car has been insured and registration is in your name and there is a plate on the car. It's simple and effective. Just means when you buy a car you usually have to wait a few days to pick it up for the paper work to go through.

Maybe they need to get 52k phone calls about covering your windshield........

Hey brotha, as a fellow CPA and car guy, keep up the good work. FYI i financed my second car complete (a 2014 C7) haha. But I've used the same tactic on all my other vehicles, take on long term loans (usually at sub 2% rates), and pay off after 1-3 years.

I hear stories like this and am so glad I switched to USAA. Also the loan and interest as a business can be a tax deduction
