Leg room is usually not an issue. It's the head room that's the issue. You have to sit up straight in a comfortable driving position and see if your head hits the roof. Also, if you plan to race you need to sit in the car with a helmet on. I'm 6'4" with a long thin upper torso. So I have to always check the headroom. I can't fit in many sport cars comfortably, especially with a helmet on.
